His artistic practice embraces diverse media including ink, charcoal, watercolor, oil, acrylic, clay and pigments. He draws inspiration from architecture, faces, the human form, and landscapes. Saja frequently derives creative impetus from his extensive travels and long-term residencies across different regions of the world. His discovery of the breadth and diversity of cultural expressions and emotional languages has led him to explore varying interpretations of reality applicable to his subjects. This reality often transforms into symbolism, edging closer to the realm of dreams that dwell at the boundaries of the subconscious. Recently, his artistic trajectory has focused on the polarity of light and darkness – precisely these opposing forces and forms that breathe life into his compositions.
